In 2026, The O’Connell House proudly joined The Home for Little Wanderers, bringing together two organizations with a shared commitment to helping children and families thrive. The O’Connell House’s mission remains unchanged—providing a safe, supportive home for young women who are survivors of human trafficking, including those who are pregnant or parenting.

At the heart of The O’Connell House is its innovative Sister Care model, which combines a variety of personalized supports to address the physical, emotional and practical needs of each woman, while allowing mothers and their children to live together at the program. Through trauma-informed care and comprehensive services, The O’Connell House helps mothers and their children build stability, independence, and a path toward a brighter future.
