Our Freedom 2025 Gala was a HUGE success — thank you to our incredible sponsors — Delta Air Lines, Baxter, Quest Diagnostics, Crankstart, Boston Scientific, Hologic, Vertex, Rockland Trust, Texas Instruments, and CBJC — plus table sponsors, donors, and supporters! It was a night of “having a great time while doing good,” filled with laughter, inspiration, and generosity.
We were honored to host special guest speaker Kelley Tuthill, President & CEO of Catholic Charities Boston and former WCVB reporter, and survivor advocate Connie A. Rose, founder of Victims2Survivors-US, who reminded us all of the vital importance of our mission with her powerful story.
This year’s special recognition awards were given to members of the community who have supported The O’Connell House:
- Healthcare Leadership Award: Sor Peña, Director of Programs, Lowell Community Healthcare Center
- Law Enforcement Leadership Award: Office Johnny Jusino, Chicopee Police Department
- Community Champion Award: Ray Ciccolo, Founder & President of Village Automotive Group
- Volunteers of the Year Award: Alan & Diane Pajak
- Parish Appreciation Award: Fr. Michael Amesse, OMI, Rector at Saint Joseph the Worker Shrine
The energy was kept high thanks to our always-entertaining auctioneer, Harry!
Thanks to all who attended! Your support is sincerely appreciated and enables us to provide a better today and a brighter future for women and children who have been trafficked.
